On Wednesday evening I went down to the docks to take photos. I decided to hang out under the boat launch and see what I could find. These photos are from underneath the boat launch. It was very peaceful with a lot of plants I enjoyed hiding in. Some of these photos are a little dark but I think it matches well with what I was experiencing at that moment. The weather was very gloomy; cloudy and rainy. Also, I think this will make a wonderful secluded reading spot on my days off.
Huy and I decided it would be a nice day for bicycles. Instead of riding we ended up just taking pictures, of course. His Univega is so beautiful and draws so much attention, I'm jealous! I'm hoping I will soon be able to get my Nishiki fixed. Huy says I should just part with the bike but I could never; it has been in my family for so long.
Of course there needs a picture of the photographer in the bicycling hat!
Recently, my friend Chloe gave me this postcard of Frida Kahlo. I didn't realize what a beautiful woman she was until I saw this postcard. I set it on my window so I can wake up and see her every morning. Seeing it reminds me of the talent I can hold and what each day brings me. I thought this photo would serve well as a first blog post.
